Sequoia Remains
Giant sequoias live for thousands of years and usually come to an end when something knocks them over. When that happens, they shatter. This image shows the remains of a shattered sequoia (which will also last for a long time). It also shows a little snow remaining at high altitude in Sequoia National Park in the General Sherman grove. Luminance correction factor is 710.
